Jacksonville is going back to its pre-pandemic roots with a single, epic fireworks show downtown to celebrate Independence Day. While past years featured fireworks in multiple locations, 2025 brings the focus (and the fun) back to the heart of the city—and helps save money for taxpayers along the way.
Where to Watch the Fireworks
The show starts at 9:00 PM, with fireworks launched from two iconic downtown spots:
- Acosta Bridge
- East of the Main Street Bridge
You’ll have a front-row view of the celebration from both the Northbank and Southbank along the St. Johns River. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and your best red, white, and blue fit—this is your chance to experience Jacksonville in full patriotic glow.
Recommended Viewing Spots & Parking
🚗 Southbank Parking:
- DCPS Lot — 1701 Prudential Dr.
- Kings Ave Garage — 1201 King Ave.
- Under Acosta Expressway — 901 Museum Circle
🚗 Northbank Parking:
- Old Landing Lot — 21 E. Coastline Dr.
Note: Parking is first-come, first-served and subject to availability.
Heads Up: Bridge Closures
To keep things safe, the Main Street Bridge and Acosta Bridge will be completely closed from 8:45 PM to 10:30 PM. Plan your arrival and departure times accordingly.
