As the holiday season twinkles into life, the city of Green Cove Springs warmly invites residents and visitors to join the annual “Christmas on Walnut Street” festival. Set to light up the city on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 12 pm to 9 pm, this enchanting event promises a full day of joyous celebration, nestled in the heart of our beloved Spring Park.

A Day Full of Festive Activities: The festival is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, showcasing an array of local food and craft vendors. Whether you’re looking to kickstart your holiday shopping or simply enjoy the culinary delights, there’s something for everyone.
The younger guests will be thrilled with the kids’ zone, packed with engaging activities. And let’s not forget the highlight for many: a visit from Santa Claus himself at his workshop in the Spring Park pool pavilion, organized by the GCS Elks Lodge Number 1892.
Evening Highlights: As dusk falls, the festivities continue with live entertainment, keeping the holiday spirit alive. The day concludes with the much-loved 1-mile Jingle Bell Fun Run organized by the Clay Striders, followed by the stunning Night Christmas Parade down Highway 17, brought to you by the Green Cove Springs Business League.
Extended Celebrations: Don’t forget to visit Spring Park throughout December for the Parade of Trees, featuring a dazzling array of decorated Christmas trees.
