About the Festival
The Hahira Honeybee Festival takes place annually on Main Street in Downtown Hahira, Georgia. First held in 1981 by Mamie Sorrell and Adeline Landrum, this beloved tradition began as a weekend of arts, crafts, entertainment, and a parade. Over the years, it has grown into a week-long extravaganza, now drawing an estimated 30,000 to 50,000 visitors to enjoy the parade, arts, crafts, food, and family fun.
Join us September 29 – October 4, 2025, for a week of arts, crafts, food, and entertainment in downtown Hahira. The highlight of the week is the Hahira Honey Bee Parade—often referred to as “the largest parade in South Georgia.” While that claim may be up for debate, one thing is certain: it’s fun for all ages!
