Get ready, Fleming Island! Santa Claus is coming to town on December 9th, and he’s bringing holiday cheer aboard a shiny fire truck! Join us for the annual Fleming Island Evening Christmas Parade, a magical event where you and your children can see Santa Claus in person.
What: Fleming Island Evening Christmas Parade
Date: Saturday, December 9, 2023
Time: Starting at 5:00 PM
Location: Various locations across Fleming Island
Event Highlights:
- Santa’s Grand Entrance: Santa will be riding on a fire truck, waving to all as he travels through Fleming Island. Listen for the festive sounds – you’ll hear us coming!
- Parade Route & Stops: The parade will make several stops across Fleming Island, giving everyone a chance to see Santa up close. Here’s where you can catch him:
- Stop 1: Paterson Elementary (Front loop and Pine Avenue) from 5:00-5:15 PM.
- Stop 2: Harbor Island Community from 5:15-5:30 PM.
- Stop 3: Pace Island (Royal Fern and Salt Myrtle loop) from 5:30-5:45 PM.
- Stop 4: Oak Creek Community from 5:45-6:00 PM.
- Eagle Harbor Parkway from 6:00-6:20 PM.
- Stop 5: Fleming Island Elementary (Front loop and Lakeshore) from 6:20-6:30 PM.
- Habersham Harbor (Loop through neighborhood) from 6:30-6:40 PM.
- Stop 6: Up 220 to Winn Dixie parking lot from 6:40-7:00 PM.
- Fleming Island Plantation (Town Center Blvd) from 7:00-7:20 PM.
- Final Stop: Margaret’s Walk (If the Gate is Open) from 7:20-7:30 PM.
