What’s better than imaging clouds taking shape of your favorite cartoon character – a hot air balloon festival of course! St. Augustine will be hosting its first year Hot Air Balloon Festival at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds this weekend on March 12-13, 2022.
Bear witness to the fun characters and colorful giant balloons that will take air and soar through the clouds. Bring the entire family as this spectacular display will be awe both adults and children alike.
You’ll be able to ride on a tethered hot-air balloon – $25 per person – there will sure be a line for this (get there early).
After 8pm, there will be a Grand Finale, a Hot Air Balloon Glow & Laser show – this will be best seen at night as the balloons light up and music will be incorporated to this visual extravaganza.
Bring sure to bring your blankets, chairs and umbrellas!
